Interview Techniques and Job Maintenance Workshop

Learn how to blitz a job interview! This interactive workshop will provide you with advice on how to prepare for and succeed in an interview. You will gain an insight in to the types of questions you may be asked and learn how to respond to behavioural questions using the STAR technique. Tips on how to create a great first impression using verbal and non-verbal language will be outlined, as well as what to wear. You will also learn strategies to help you keep calm during interviews to improve your performance and conquer interview anxiety.

Resume and Job Application Guidance Workshop

Want to know how to transform your job applications into a powerful tool that opens doors? This workshop will show you how to grab the employer’s attention by writing a compelling application customised for their organisation. You will learn the do’s and don’ts of resume writing and hear how to effectively and confidently convey your passion for the role and provide evidence of your skills, knowledge and experience in your cover letter and responses to key selection criteria.

Job Readiness Workshop

Do you know what employers are really looking for? This interactive workshop will examine the skills and attributes employers’ desire most when recruiting. After identifying your unique set of transferable skills, you will gain an understanding of how you can address skill gaps and learn how to confidently communicate your capabilities to prospective employers when applying for jobs.

Job Search and Networking Workshop

Ever wondered how to gain access to those jobs that aren’t advertised? Learn how to look beyond  job advertisements to uncover less obvious employment opportunities. This workshop will provide you with tips to successfully tap into the hidden job market and take control of your job search. From networking, cold calling and LinkedIn, learn practical strategies to give you the edge and gain employment sooner.
